Hello! I’m Tony

Temporary Licensed Therapist

I was born and raised in Connecticut and graduated from Glastonbury High School in 2010. I then went to Southern Connecticut State University graduating in 2014 with my Bachelors of Arts in Psychology specializing in Mental Health! From there I went to St. Athanasius Theological Seminary in Texas finishing in 2016. After finishing seminary I taught for the 2016-2017 academic year at a private Christian academy in Nashville, TN. Then I went back to the field of psychology and mental health and received by Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Trevecca Nazarene University in 2021.

My parents immigrated to the United States from Egypt in hopes of providing better opportunities for myself and older brother. I am Christian and can help bring the faith aspect into therapy; although, I work with people from various faith backgrounds and ethnicities! I am conversational in Arabic!

In my free time I love to read, hike, and workout! One of my favorite things about Nashville, TN. is trying all the local hole-in-the-wall restaurants!

My Approach & Values

I help individuals, and couples overcome the ebbs and flow of life. The stresses of life can often lead us down the path to use substances, behaviors, and unhealthy mindsets to cope with our pain. As a therapist, I often tell my clients that pain is inevitable in life, but suffering is optional, and that is how I can help you! I have experience working with individuals who struggle with compulsive sexual behavior—working very closely with Dr. Michael Christian at Connection Therapy Group. I am also training through IITAP created by Patrick Carnes to become a certified sex addiction therapist (CSAT).

I specialize in addiction as well as anxiety and depression.

If you are struggling with addiction, you don’t have to do it yourself! There is hope! You can book an initial session by going to the website link under my picture! I offer telehealth and in-person session in Brentwood and Mt. Juliet. If needed, I can provide codes & invoices to file with insurances. I also provide limited reduced rates.
